Who writes our content
All articles and fund commentary on this site are written by Ojasvi Malik, an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-317605) based in Chandigarh, India. Content draws on hands-on experience helping Indian families select funds, set up SIPs, and stay invested through market cycles. We do not publish AI-generated filler, syndicated content, or guest posts.
Data before opinion
Every NAV, return, and risk figure is computed from the official AMFI daily NAV feed, synced daily for 1,800+ active schemes. Returns, volatility, Sharpe and Sortino ratios are calculated from this history using standard formulas. Fund manager details, expense ratios, and portfolio holdings come from each AMC’s official monthly factsheet and are labelled with their source wherever shown.
Where verified data is not yet available, we show nothing. We do not estimate, interpolate, or reproduce figures from third-party aggregators.
Fact-checking and updates
Fund data updates automatically with each AMFI sync, so tables and charts reflect the latest published NAVs. Articles carry their publication date, and we revise them when regulation (SEBI categorisation, tax rules) or market structure changes make guidance stale. If you spot an error, write to hello@vmfinancialservices.com — corrections are made on the page itself.
Independence from our distribution business
Vijay Malik Financial Services earns trail commission when clients invest in regular plans through us. Our editorial content is kept separate from that business: articles never push specific funds because they pay us more, fund pages present direct-plan data (which pays us nothing), and expense ratios are stated plainly so readers can judge cost themselves.
Education, not advice
We are a mutual fund distributor, not a SEBI-Registered Investment Adviser. Everything published here is educational. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell any scheme, and it does not consider your personal financial situation. For personalised advice, consult a SEBI-Registered Investment Adviser (RIA).
Advertising
Pages may carry clearly-marked third-party advertising. Ads are served independently and have no influence on which funds we cover, the data we display, or the conclusions in our articles.
